Website Accessibility Agencies: 43 Verified Profiles (2026)

Written by Kaden Ewald · Published September 8, 2026 · Updated September 9, 2026

This page lists every website accessibility agency and vendor Grow Wild could confirm directly against that company's own public materials — its homepage, about page, and services pages, read first-hand rather than copied from another site's list. Every fact below traces to the agency's own site; where a fact wasn't publicly stated, the field says “Not published” instead of guessing at it.

A note on ordering. The 43 agencies below are listed alphabetically, not ranked. Grow Wild has published a scoring methodology for evaluating accessibility agencies, but that methodology has not yet been run against the companies on this page — a scored, ranked version of this list will follow once it has been applied to each agency's public materials from scratch. Nothing here is a “top pick” or an editor's choice, and no single entry is called out as “the best”: it's a sourced starting point for your own evaluation, in the order the alphabet puts it.

Grow Wild Agency, the company that operates this directory, appears on this list in its correct alphabetical position, like every other agency — see its entry below for the required on-entry disclosure. The people who write and review pages like this one, and how factual errors get corrected, are covered in our editorial policy.

Which agencies made this list

Grow Wild's directory dataset currently covers 50 named website-accessibility companies, each checked individually against that company's own site. Of those, 43 have enough directly verifiable facts to build a fair, honest card, and appear below. Seven did not make this specific list, for stated reasons rather than by omission:

  • Dig Inclusionthe domain no longer resolves to any operating accessibility company; nothing to verify.
  • TPGinow redirects entirely into Vispero's site, which already appears on this list; no standalone facts were left to check.
  • Accessible360now redirects entirely into Allyant's site, which already appears on this list, for the same reason.
  • PEAT (Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology)a U.S. Department of Labor-funded initiative, not a company that sells audits or remediation.
  • Accessibility.comby its own site's description, a media, events, and vendor-directory resource, not a hands-on accessibility service provider.
  • WebAIMa university-affiliated research and training program; it's the publisher of the WebAIM Million statistic cited below, not a vendor listed here.
  • Web Tonica general growth-marketing agency whose own site lists "Accessibility" as a single, unelaborated bullet under web development, with no directly verifiable standards, pricing, or headquarters to build a card from.

Every card below is either fully verified (every populated field traces to that agency's own site) or partial (some fields are sourced; the rest read “Not published” rather than being filled in from somewhere else). No agency below is unverified — the one dataset row carrying that status, Dig Inclusion, is the exclusion above, not a guess.

Reading with real numbers in mind: 95.9% of home pages tested had at least one detected WCAG 2 failure, per the WebAIM Million report (2026) — most businesses have never had a manual audit at all, which is exactly what most agencies below are set up to change.

Frequently asked questions

Is an accessibility overlay widget enough on its own?

No. A widget layered on top of a site can adjust contrast, font size, and some visual settings, but it can't rewrite meaningful alt text for images, fix a broken heading structure, make a custom interactive component keyboard-operable, or correct form-error handling that assistive technology can't parse — all of that requires access to the underlying code. Several agencies on this list, including Deque Systems, Level Access, and Bureau of Internet Accessibility, offer manual audits and code-level remediation rather than a widget alone; see our guide on WCAG remediation for how the two approaches differ in practice. A handful of agencies here — accessiBe, UserWay, and EqualWeb among them — are overlay/widget vendors themselves, and their cards above say so directly.

What does a professional accessibility audit typically evaluate?

A manual audit checks a site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (opens in new tab), organized around four principles — perceivable, operable, understandable, robust — using both automated scanning and hands-on testing: keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader behavior, color contrast, form labeling and error handling, and focus order, among other checks. A complete engagement typically documents results in a VPAT or Accessibility Conformance Report, so you can see exactly what passed, what failed, and what was not evaluated at all. Grow Wild’s own scoring methodology lists manual testing, code-level remediation, and documented evidence among the things it checks for in any agency, including our own.

What's the legal exposure for an inaccessible website?

It depends on who operates the site. Private businesses generally fall under ADA Title III (opens in new tab) as places of public accommodation, a theory that has produced thousands of website-accessibility lawsuits in recent years. State and local government websites fall under ADA Title II (opens in new tab) instead, which the Department of Justice’s 2024 rule set on a fixed timeline: entities serving a population of 50,000 or more must conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA by April 26, 2027, and entities under 50,000 population, along with special district governments, by April 26, 2028 — both dates pushed back a year from the rule’s original 2026/2027 schedule. The underlying reason exposure is so broad in the first place: 95.9% of home pages tested had a detected WCAG 2 failure, per the 2026 WebAIM Million report (opens in new tab) — most sites have simply never been audited.

Which WCAG version and conformance level should a business target?

Most legal and contractual references point to WCAG (opens in new tab) 2.1 or 2.2 at Level AA — the level referenced in the Title II regulation above, and the level most agencies on this list say they test against. WCAG 2.2 is the current version and adds a handful of success criteria (target size and focus visibility among them) that 2.1 does not cover, so where budget allows, 2.2 AA is the safer target over 2.1 AA. Section 508 (for federal work) is written around the older WCAG 2.0 AA baseline, so a federal contractor should confirm which version a specific solicitation actually requires. For a fuller walkthrough of who is covered and which standard applies to your organization, see whatisada.com’s guide to ADA website compliance (opens in new tab).

Should a business hire an agency, a solo consultant, or train an in-house team?

It depends on whether the need is a one-time fix or an ongoing capability. A single WCAG audit and remediation project often suits a boutique consultancy or solo practitioner — this list runs from large staffed firms down to a single-person consultancy billing by the hour. An organization that publishes content continuously — a large ecommerce catalog, a CMS with many editors — usually needs either an ongoing agency relationship or in-house training, since new content can reintroduce failures after the initial fix. Our guide on hiring an accessible web designer walks through that decision in more detail, and every agency on this page is checked against the same public criteria described in our methodology.

How we chose these agencies

Every company on this page came from the same sourcing pass: agencies and vendors already competing in search results for accessibility-agency and web-accessibility-company terms, cross-checked against roundups other sites publish — used only to find candidate names, never as a source of fact — then verified individually against that company's own homepage, about page, and services pages. Nothing here comes from a self-submitted profile or a paid listing request; see the on-entry disclosure on Grow Wild's own card above.

What you don't see yet is a score. Grow Wild has published a scoring methodology — the pillars it weighs, what counts as evidence, and what it deliberately doesn't score (pricing, testimonials, and review counts aren't part of the model) — but running all 43 agencies through it individually is still in progress. When that pass is complete, this page updates to a ranked version, and today's alphabetical version moves to an archive so it stays checkable against what it said when you read it.

For a broader, vendor-neutral checklist you can apply to any accessibility agency yourself — ours included — see How to Choose an ADA & WCAG Compliance Agency. For who writes and fact-checks pages like this one, and how a factual error gets corrected, see our editorial policy.
